“It took a different pair of great cleats to realize how special my Tokays truly were”
Caleb started playing ultimate as a freshman in college in 2006 at Colorado State University, where he made the "B Team". From there, he went on to play for various men's and mixed teams before finding a home with Minneapolis Drag'n Thrust, where he's continued to play since 2018. Over the last few years, Caleb made the Mixed WUGC 2020 and WUBC 2023 teams. He also played his first Master's season with DC Descent, qualifying for and winning WUMC 2022 in Ireland. In 2024, Caleb became the first two-time recipient of the Spirit and Equity Award in the history of ultimate. In addition to playing, Caleb served as Austin's Youth Coordinator for two years and spent several years coaching. He currently serves on USA Ultimate's Board of Directors.
“I wore my first pair of Tokay cleats for the 2021 season and absolutely loved them. However, I use new cleats every year, so I left them with my parents and moved on to a pair of Nike’s for 2022, which I also thought were great. Then, I went home over the holidays and grabbed my old Tokays for some local pickup. Once at the field, I cleated up, and I felt like Cinderella in her glass slippers, a perfect fit! It took a different pair of great cleats to realize how special my Tokays truly were. I went home and immediately ordered a pair for the 2023 season.“
