Have you noticed how quickly stores change their decorations from one holiday to the next? The fashion industry no longer operates with just winter and summer seasons; instead, it fills the year with constant events, pressuring consumers to keep buying. At TOKAY, we don’t believe in pushing anyone to overconsume. Our product line is designed to last for years, and we offer sales only for meaningful reasons, like phasing out discontinued items.
No black friday
While Black Friday may seem packed with deals, those discounts often come at a hidden cost. When you buy a product at full price outside of sale events, you’re actually helping cover the discounts given later. At TOKAY, we keep our prices fair and consistent all year long. You can be confident that you're getting the right price whenever you choose to buy.
Materials
Although they can look the same, not all materials are equal regarding their environmental impact. Some of them require chemicals during production that pollute the air and water. When these products are discarded, those chemicals will be released in the air if burned or in the water if buried. When creating the TOKAY Flight, we carefully sorted the materials we used with their environmental impact in mind.
In 2019 we led an internal study to analyze better the impact of our products over their entire lifecycle. This study showed that avoiding PVC – a common material from the footwear industry – in our design reduced our impact on human health by 30%.
Europe production
Our socks and beach socks are already produced in Europe. From our projections, producing our cleats in Europe would also be sustainable, although we’re still missing some key partners to make this project a reality. This change would have a positive impact on our carbon emissions.

We’ve tried ads on Facebook and Instagram, but it didn’t really make sense to us to spend so much to bigger companies while we could help our community grow by supporting Ultimate Frisbee projects.
Our marketing budget is now directed to our beloved sponsors that have a real impact on our community : Ultiworld, Ulti.TV, Ultiphoto.com, Focus Ultimate, One More Year among others. We are proud that our actions participate in alleviating these costs from the player and team fees.
When you purchase a pair of TOKAY you know that part of your purchase is reinjected into services you may access like a streamed game, a tournament prize or lower fees.
Ultimate is known to be a demanding sport. It requires agility, power and stamina to withstand the multiple cuts, jumps and sprints. Finding the balance between performance and durability on a product that we know you’ll be hard testing is a challenge.
Plastic bags are used for just a few minutes and take 500 years to break down.
Plastics in packaging are not just the ones you see when you receive your product. Generally, products are wrapped together or individually into plastic bags to prevent them from being lost or damaged during transportation.

Did you know you don’t have to throw your box away? Instead, you can reuse it as a disc holder!
Our supply chain is quite simple, the cleats ship from the factory to the warehouse and are then sent individually to the players.
In 2019 we opened a warehouse in the USA in addition to our European warehouse to optimize our supply chain. With most of our customers based either in North America or Europe, we can now limit shipping distances by shipping your pair from the closest warehouse.

Our first model was developed from the results of a survey and we haven’t stopped ever since to listen to our customers to evolve our products.
We analyzed the 1300 answers from players worldwide to understand the dream footwear Ultimate Frisbee players were looking for.
Since then we have analyzed every feedback to continuously improve our model. Which allowed us to add 4 major evolutions to the TOKAY Flight.
